After my first art show in 2011 in Vancouver,

I'm painting on, when I have a few moments.
The reason the art show came about is complex in itself. When my left cerebral hemisphere is exhausted with financial analysis, extensive number crunching, management and accounting, I seek relief in art, writing (haiku, short stories etc) and music. While my logical and rational thought processes relax, the right brain chimes in. Art can prove to be therapeutic, recreational as well as creative. In July 2013 in Vancouver, I exhibited two landscapes in acrylic as part of a group art show.
In the year 2000, a course in acrylic painting got me started. My media of choice are acrylic, oil pastels and water colours. My multimedia portrayals include found objects.
I have focused on abstracts and landscapes, with the occasional portrait or still life thrown in for good measure. I have also painted series of doves and flowers. Art is available for sale:
